Looking to source panels “locally” in NH and came across this site, anyone purchase from them? Looks like I can pick up locally 50 miles away in Mass and save shipping which will be about a wash for sales tax but I won’t have to worry about shipping damage.

Looking for panels with a VOC of 40v for my 100v SCC(300-400w range). I was looking at AltE store but seems like their brands and models they are stocking are more geared towards 50v VOC as I’m guessing the price per watt is better for them.

Not directly related to panels, but am starting to look for authorized distributors for larger purchases and saw that A1 had some products for sale, but is not listed as an authorized distributor for that company.

A1 sells Outback products, but are not listed as one of the 30 authorized US distributors on the Outback Website.

I truly am not sure what that means in the terms of warranty support.

I don’t know anything of A1 but if they don’t work out for you look for a CED Greentech close to you. they are a national chain that wholesales to installers. They don’t have prices on their website but shows Stock. find something You like call and they will quote you a price. They say wholesale only but they sold to me. I had to drive a total of 250 miles but didn’t have to pay shipping on a 31 pallet of panels. Got REC 365w that matched the 10 already had for .70 a watt. Saved about $100.00 per panel plus from when I ordered my first 10 from NAWS

I purchased 10 290watt and 8 320watt REC 120cell panels from A1 last February with no issues. I’ve noticed their prices seem less competitive in the last 8 months or so. I’ve also purchased about 12kW of panels from signature solar with no issue other than 2 damaged panels in one shipment of 10 which they promptly refunded.

There’s a CED wheelhouse distributer not too far from me. As far as I knew it was just an electrical supply house (I actually was able to snag a nice 8-3 SJOO 25’ scrap for my generator whip.)

I’ll give them a call before I reach out to A1. I have about 3 months before my install.

Thanks for the info.

I did notice their “American made”300-500w units were quite pricy $400-500.

The price of JA solar 395w seem to be only
$285, VOC of 37v is right up my ally as well.

I am scanning for solar panel purchase options in Northern California. One nearby warehouse I purchased 6K watts worth in about 375 watts per panel, cost $0.50 / Watt a couple of years ago. I noticed the prices going up, then that warehouse closes. Last year search reveal Signature Solar in Texas having best solar panel prices for 10 panels with a decent ok trucking cost rate. Open to More Options ... for my girlfriend's house 🐾🐾🐾🌠

I have bought pallets from them when they have sales. As recently as October 2023. A1 was good to work with, fedex freight not so much.

I have bought panels from A1 for local pickup in Arizona. Everything went great. I called them about rails that weren’t listed on their site and they hooked me up with them as well. 😎
