Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

Hi. I have a Growatt 500SPH inverter with a 6.5kw Growatt battery. In November last year I had 2 strings of 6 and 12 x 430W panels replaced under warranty. I have started to notice something odd these past 2 days, which have been very sunny. When I check the Growatt app to see how much power I'm generating (usually between 5 and 6.5kw) my load/usage increases the more the system produces, by roughly 400/700W. I first thought there's something in the house that's causing a higher than normal drain but nothing seems apparent. When the sun starts to go down and production drops so does my usage, down to about 800W from 1.2/1.4Kwph, which I found odd. I can only assume the system is drawing more electricity than normal. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the warranty installation, as I never noticed this before. Any thoughts?

As you can see with the screenshot my load consumption goes up and down in line with solar production from 9.20am, which I've been having for the past couple of days. Very unusual.

Solar production is based on load demand.
They should definitely rise and fall together.
House loads are variable. Battery charging loads reduce, as Battery SOC increases. Exporting to the grid, is an infinite load.

Load consumption shouldn’t be increasing when solar production goes up. For example, if my property is using 0.4kwph when the sun comes out it increases to 1kwph, but the property is not demanding any more than when it was using 0.4kwph. So why would that be?

Can you clamp the output see if there's actually a match to what the software is showing?

Thanks for your reply. Could you explain with a bit more detail please on what I need to do, my tech expertise is rather limited 😂

Battery charging?

It still happens after the battery is charged from solar production. Could it be a faulty ct clamp giving incorrect readings?
Possibly
But I would assume that the CT's only affect export and import numbers.

Load consumption is what I’d be importing if the solar wasn’t producing anything and the battery had run down, so it’s all connected in one way or another. Nonetheless those clamps calculate readings, so it’s quite possible the clamp is faulty.
