What is your hobby

My hobby is to build wood ship kits. Comment your hobby here lets see how many of us have same interest.

Fishing, hiking, hunting and taking a few photographs when I remember. I like building stuff. I have a yard project where I need to clean the dirt out of the rock gardens (about 600 square feet, 3" to 8" deep). Doing it by hand was tedious and very time consuming. So I built a trommel to do the dirty work for me. My wife thought I was nuts, but she eventually came around that it was useful. My neighbors want to borrow it.

Playing and building guitars. Songwriting.

Bird listener.

These days I spend a lot of time playing with all things solar, 50% hobby, 50% commercial. I also play with linux SBCs and write stuff in various languages to automate various things. I don't have a green thumb but I do have some fruit trees and the like to soak up the time too. The climate here lets me grow citrus, papaya (locally known as paw paw), mango, pomegranate, bananas, tomato etc so there's always something fresh to nibble on.

Normally I do a lot of cycling and walking too, but old knee injuries have caught up to me lately so cycling is out for the time being and walking is restricted to 10km around suburban trails rather than tromping around national parks in the area. Going to hospital in the near future to get some maintenance and looking forward to getting back on the bike.

Off road motorcycles - single track enthusiast. This was a few years ago in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in November. A very challenging ride.
