I want to setup a 48v system, just confuse how the setup will be, because the AH I am planning to achieve is 500, Pls can I use 4 pcs of 100ah led acid batteries to get the 48v on series and also connecting 2pcs of 200ah batteries in parallel to get the 500ah..

My question is won't it affect the setup?
Or I should use 200ah batteries to achieve the 48v?

Your opinion is needed..

In parallel, add the amp hours together
In series, add the voltages together

So 2x 24v 200ah batteries in series will give you 48v, 200ah
2x 24v 200ah batteries in parallel will give you 24v, 400ah

So if you want 500ah at 48v, you need 4x 12v, 500ah batteries, connected in series.

okay so it is preferable to use 24v battery, the funny thing is that I have not seen 24v batteries before....

You'd need 20 12v 100ah batteries to make a 48v 500ah battery (5p4s).

4 12v 100ah batteries in series would give you 48v, 100ah, and 4.8kwh of power. You want 5 times that? Why 500ah specifically?

Thanks, I can see that there is an error in what I put up, so how do you want me to fix it your opinion is needed

Attaching 100ah batteries in series to get 48v will consume 4pcs of batteries and by doing so I will need more than the speculated batteries.
Where I am getting it wrong is can I combine 4pcs of 100ah battery that gave me 48v with 2pcs of 200Ah in parallel(400ah)to the 100Ah to get 500ah or will it affect the voltage..

The actual number of cells/batteries in your bank isn't important as long as the volts & amps add up to what you want. A lot of times, the geometry of the battery can be factor so you can squeeze them into someplace convenient. That said, make sure you get an appropriate charger/bms solution for what you pick up and plan it out in advance. Getting four 12v batteries with the BMS built in that can be in series (I've heard some can't be) is probably the easiest way to go.

You might also find posts #7 & #8 in the Battery FAQ of interest if you need to put some batteries in parallel to get the total Ah you want.
