Disconnect Between Battery and Inverter Question

I am using a Blue Sea 6006 disconnect and a 100a fuse (usually covered) between my single 2800ah LiFePO4 battery and a 2000w inverter (see photo)
Does this seem adequate? Overkill? Does that very short positive cable present any downside in your opinion?
Thanks in advance.

Short is good, less resistance. Just not too short where bends cause stress on the connections.

So at max load the inverter could be pulling close to 200A. Depends how heavily you have it loaded. Ideally that would be a class t fuse.

I used a 300 amp MBRF between the switch and 3000 watt inverter. Limits the inverter draw. We also watch number of appliances in operation. Max current to date seen is 60 amps from the batteries with another 25 from the solar panels.
