Luxpower tek important US users press release includes EG4 6000XP

Does this mean that if it is used outside the USA and Canada it can be used to back feed the grid?

The luxpower firmware can and I'm guessing the eg4 version as well, hence the cya notification.
Can anyone confirm what they see on their 6000xp? I was toying around with buying the lux model to enable grid assist with zero export. I bet they take the option out of it's there.

Would be nice to know for sure as my utility provider is requiring residential solar to be grid-tied.

How can they force that? Do they really have the authority to say you can't self consume your own power without rhem involved?

I'd be giving them a rude gesture. Anything past the meter box is mine, so they can shove off.

I hear all you say and fully agree, however, when the utility provider is state-owned they can pass laws to do that. I do currently have a transfer switch but if the 6000XP can support grid tie then it would make the connection much simpler and legal according to them. I have zero interest in exporting so I would only do that if battery is full.

What state are you in?
