Current usage is 7.4kW.
I am looking at bundles, particularly at Signature Solar, but vendor agnostic right now (free shipping with them!).

Considering three options:

Option 1: Single EP Cube, made by Canadian solar, which is a 7.6kW hybrid inverter, in a bundle along with a 9.9kWh battery (outdoor rated) + 30 canadian solar 395W mono-crystalline panels. This system costs $10,500 USD.

Option 2: A pair of EG4 6000XP off grid inverters, indoor only, plus two of the same 30.72kWh EG4 lithium powerwall (indoor only), and 30 canadian solar 395W mono-crystalline panels. This system costs $15,000 USD

Option 3: Single EG4 18k PV hybrid inverter, which is 12,000 W and outdoor rated, plus 30.72kWh EG4 lithium powerwall (indoor only), and 30 canadian solar 395W mono-crystalline panels. This system costs $18,000 USD.

I know that option 1 is all outdoor, but battery capacity is lower, and is right at my current consumption. I haven't added a 3rd, 4th, or 5th mini-split, nor have I added a 240v charger for future electric car. I do have one, but it charges on 110 just fine. However option 1 has a small battery (call it 10kWh) compared to the others (3x the storage).

I know that Option 2 requires more panels and junctions, and would be all indoors.

I know that Option 3 could have the inverter outside, but the batteries would be indoor only.

I have not yet seen a video of how noise the EG4 18K or 6K are under full load. If you have a link to a video, let me know. I would not want to sleep in a room where the fans are going like mad. I've worked in a server room before at a large tech company and the noise is very bad.

Both the 6000XP bundle and the 18KPV bundle are excellent choices, and you can't go wrong with either. The best option for you depends on your specific needs and preferences. Here is a YouTube video of a sound level test for the 6000XP.

To me, and maybe others, this would be way too loud to be in a room inside a home that was anywhere near anyone sleeping or a water source. So for this, I'd be looking at a solar shed or mobile cart option like Will did. To be determined.

Anyone else have recommendations on indoor mounting location for an all-in-one from EG4?

I am yet to see photos of anything by EG4 in a marine environment (dominated by Victron it would seem).
