Aptos 370w panels. WOW

I have looking at the 370W panels to replace the 31 260W panels that i have mounted because they are the same size as my old panels.
I was hesitant because of all the shipping damage story's here but after reading this post I think I will go ahead and order them.

I wouldn't call mine flimsy but a little more "wobble" than my Hyundai 300W. But those are slightly smaller so prob par for the course. To me they look great with the all black design versus traditional solar panels (Hyundai's and random 100W to the left)

Just to update, was walking on these today while trimming around the panels, they don't feel any different than the Hyundai's for "under boot" feel

Should be fine worst case may lose one or two on a pallet assuming there's no catastrophic spearing by a fork.

...you walk/step on your panels?
Yes, these aren't delicate pieces of glass. I think Will has a video where he's wheeling a large Honda generator over his panels that are laying on the ground which would have a higher psi versus a person.

thats a great way to kill some grass 🤣
Absolutely. It only took 1 day to fry grass when I first had my panels sitting directly on the ground on a hot day with one end propped up slightly. The lower 2 ft or so got scorched pretty bad.

What I did after was use some nice closed-cell foam blocks with v-notches to elevate the bottom edge slightly off the grass. Don't seem to have gotten any scorching since, and we've had some crazy hot days.

Technically? Maybe... but panels can still get minor damage from flexing/bending and that damage can shorten longevity.. I wouldn't risk it but that's just me
