I have looked at a gazillion posts to no avail, but I KNOW there was a post somewhere about changing from C to F.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me to the post?

I believe instructions are on back of remote......app will do it also.

Don't use the app.
Did not see them on the remote, but will look next time I go.

Mine says to press the Temp and fan button at same time for three seconds in the shutdown state, celsius and farenheit can be switched...or so it says

Tried that.
The "Instruction Manual" is lacking to say the least.

The instructions on the back of my remote were incorrect. Mine is changed just by pressing both the top and bottom temp arrows at the same time.

Were you able to get this issue resolved?
Yes, and no.
I finally downloaded the app, and it will change to F.
The unit is on a weekend property though, and I do not run my 48V system when I'm not there.
When I shut down the system, and the sun goes away, it reverts to C. Default, I guess.
Not a huge deal. I used to live in Europe, so I can do the C thing.

If I make almost any change using that $/#'#@* remote, it reverts the unit to Celsius. I now use only the phone app. Then again, I darn sure won't be buying another EG4 minisplit.

Hey there, @EG4TechSolutionsTeam .

Can we BUY replacement remotes at a reasonable cost?? I know it's the remote as the one that shipped with my 24k unit controls the two other 12k's I have without the C to F flip flop. While I have become knowledgeable at C to F conversion, the other members in my household - not so much...
