A solar ARRAY is any collection of multiple solar panels connected together to generate electricity in parallel or series, whereas a solar STRING refers to a series of solar panels connected in series, to increase the voltage of the system. Example: You can have one array of 3 strings.

MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking.

Here's something that will really mess with your head although we call them solar panels most of the time the actual term is PV panel a solar panel doesn't produce electricity it produces heat.
 
The Op seems to have a rather short list of Acronyms. I notice that he has bounced about the Forum on various Threads with some responses being close to advertising his services (he even went so far as to post a phone number). The thing is there is a place on the Forum for that. He needs not post lists such as this Thread and the one he posted on hybrids to gain stature.

Maybe he doesn't understand yet it took me a few days to realize many of us are donkeys in a thoroughbred race if he stays long enough he will come to understand there's CEOs CTO's and many more abbreviations of the companies he's talking about here.

CEO: Chief Executive Officer: the main person responsible for managing a company, who is sometimes also the company's president or chairman of the board.

CTO: Chief Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business.

Donkey: a domesticated hoofed mammal of the horse family with long ears and a braying call, used as a beast of burden; an ass.

There were several posts from 2 different new people that were like this, very much looks like AI dispensing bad information or advertising. I reported both. And I also reported a third that was a 1 post wonder of "look at this" with a link to some product or other on youtube that was scraping hit/view count.
