Ruixu 16kWh LiFePO4 Early Adopter

I picked up my Ruixu 16kWh battery today. It was really simple to set up and get working with my EG4 6000 XP. It took about an hour to get it unloaded out of the back of the truck (300+ lbs!), unboxed (heavy duty plywood crate), and connected in place of the Power Queen batteries that were previously running my house. The only hiccup was the fact that switching the 6000XP from Lead-Acid to Lithium mode resets the inverter output, which plunged the house into darkness while my brother was using the interior bathroom with no window.
What protocol did you set inverter and battery to in order to have closed loop comms?

I just set it to 0 and it seems to be happily reporting the data to the 6000XP.

I forgot to mention that I also set the configuration on the front panel of the battery itself to "Lux Power."

Here's what it looks like, semi-permanently installed, connected to the 6000XP running my critical loads panel. I still need to figure out how to strap it to the wall so it can't tip over in an earthquake. The brackets it came with expect it to be pushed flush against the wall, but the curb around the garage floor forces anything on the ground to be at least 3 inches away from the wall, and I also don't have space against that wall without rearranging my entire garage.

I skimmed through this thread, hope I did not miss it. Has there been any progress / update on UL listing for this battery?

To the best of my knowledge they're still out for UL9540 and UL9540A testing. Same deal with the Ruixu inverter.

Forum shows Rachel Wang-RUIXU was last active yesterday. So, I assume we'll have news when there is news.

I'm just waiting for the Will video to drop.

Got mine. Mine fell over because the wheels are incredibly dangerous. Highly recommend removing them and moving with a hand truck. Everything else looks good and I'm cycling the battery now.
Great testing metric! How many Newtons of force did you get up to?

Thanks for this thread. Any update on when the video will be available @Will Prowse ? Or any feedback on Ruixu vs EG4 batteries? I'm trying to decide which to buy and it sounds like EG4 prices are going up shortly so hoping to make a decision on what to order by end of the month. Thx!

I was able to get my two Ruixu batteries connected pretty easily. I just set the inverter type to luxpower on the master battery and it all played nicely. I used the busbars that Ruixu made for these batteries. I still need to secure the batteries to the wall. This was my first solar project.

The system consists of 2 RUIXU Lithi2-16, 2 EG4 6000XP, and then 36 of the APTOS 370W DNA Panels. It is completely disconnected from the grid and has provided all my power needs so far. I might consider adding another Lithi2-16 or adding a chargeverter but have not yet decided.

Haha 127kWh on this system right now!! Added an extra t class fuse yesterday to separate the new batteries just in case haha
I have 6 of these Ruixu batteries, not set up yet, and will be getting a Victron system. Obviously going to connect each battery directly to a bus bar. Do I need a T class fuse from every battery to the bus bar, or should I connect each battery to the bus bar, then have just one T class fuse between the battery bus bar, and the bus bar for the electronics? Is the breaker on this battery sufficient, making a fuse unnecessary?

Also, I'm eagerly awaiting your video on this battery! Thank you.
