Yea it happens all the time with those captchas, especially recaptcha (from google)
They do this the more likely your network (entire block) traffic has been abusing systems.
Now the real irony is solving captchas automatically takes about 15 minutes to setup.
They do not help protect systems from robots. (if someone specifically targeted it)
What does help is google / cloudflare (with their other similar captcha) having such a massive grasp on web traffic that if they don't know who you are they just consider you a bot... that helps against bots, more than anything else.. but has a ton of other privacy issues
