hello guys i have deye 12kw hybrid solar inverter 48v battery model. is there any ev charger that can communicate with deye inverter or how do i make sure that if i am charging ev at 5kw for example that leaves house only 7kw for the load to be used. i am trying to find solution when house consumption goes higher i want ev charger to go down with charging speed , and also when house consumption is low to charge faster. i have 10kw of solar pv array connected to my inverter and i have 10kwh battery with 200a max charge and discharge. anyway i only charge car on fully sunny days.

Sounds like a job for a Raspberry Pi and an L2 EVSE that has an adjustable output. Have the Pi monitor the inverter output and the house load, and adjust the Pilot signal in the EVSE to tell the EV to only pull a specific amount of power, depending on those outputs. Some EVSE have an output current adjustment via DIP switches or some such. It would be easy for a Pi to change such a thing.

This is a project that I've got WAY down on my priority list, but it sounds like it would be a fun one.

Emporia might be an option. I think they have a way using their energy monitoring with the EV charger to adjust the charge rate. Doesn't integrate with the inverter but might work

i mean it dont need to integrate with inverter , having ev charger to monitor l1 , l2 , and l3 power would be good as well but somewhere i would need to enter max power of the system for example 12kw. i found schneider ev charger this model https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BGS3FN24...0OK&creativeASIN=B0BGS3FN24&tag=geizhals10-21 that can work with schneider some module that monitors house power but it is still unclear to me where can i enter max power allowed for the house : this is the one
. it is very unclear how will this thing know i have only 12kw limit .

The easy way would be not to plug in your EV until house batteries are floating.

Access the weather, pick an EV charging rate that leaves sufficient solar to power your house loads.

Of course there are going to be times when EV battery is going to have a higher priority than house batteries, you have to just do what works for you on any given day :)

It may be "low-tech" but I use a smart plug to power the control side of a relay that powers up the EV charger plug.
When the EV is plugged in, SOC and solar are 'good' and the loads on the rest of the system moderate - I just click on the smart plug with my phone.
There is also a 'schedule' option for the smart plug, so if I just want the EV to charge a few hours and then disconnect, I can click the schedule settings I want, and walk away. Works for me.

even if i put 4kw to charge car sometimes house can consume 8.5kw which is problem

Why not a supplementary inverter for dedicated ev charging 🤔
i see people use dynamic load option smart meters with ev chargers. house sometimes consumes low as 2kw but there are moments when dishwasher . dryer. cooker, boiler and other staff activates at same time and then is problem , i do have 1 more inverter but only 2kw of solar connected to it . that means i would need add at least another 5kw of solar panels to make it work which will require space around house to put it on , work done etc. its easier for me to have dynamic load i am trying to figure out what is best option. I was trying to find out did anybody figure out can deye communicate with any type of eve charger

Do you have batteries in your system?

I have an openevse charger. It has various interfaces where you can tell it how much to charge the car. I wrote software to do this based on PV system production. It works well but it's DIY approach. Not plug and play.
There are some plug and play (or at least alot easier) ways to do this than I did.
There are other posting her on this forum about this topic. Use the search function to find them.

10kW is not a lot for charging an EV, I am able to use the large ESS to charge and then let the solar "re-fill" the batteries, I just keep an eye on the output and how the solar PV is going. Low Tech for sure but it works for what I need.

i dont think you understand anything here, i dont charge from battery i charge during day time when its sunny battery is charged very quickly i have 10kw of solar array. i charge from sun to car not from battery. but i need dynamic load option to not overload inverter . that is what i am searching for . Best budget ev charger with dynamic load . so far i only found wallbox pulsar plus that works with this and schneider smart charger

What about an ev charger with a CT clamp? Automatically adjusts charging based on excess solar production like the ocular IQ Doesn't communicate with inverter perse.

Yes,
Just suggesting it is 'easier' (at least in my case) to use the ESS to act as the buffer and not require dynamic load balancing.

Lektrico 1P7K a raspberry pi and a esp32+ttl to rs485all can be used with your inverter via home assistant to pretty much do whatever you want.

do you have maybe some video of how do i integrate all of this anybody having anything on youtube ? and can i use esp32 to ttl and connect it directly to deye inverter ? deye has rs 485 meter port would i plug it in there

sounds great can you tell me can raspberry pi communicate with smart meter from main breakout box
It's very likely depending on the model of smart meter.

As far as videos there should be plenty on home assistant but most informative on setting it up can be found here:

The Deye inverter setup has a few various GitHub pages but this post seems to have a video:

Info on connecting the EV charger can be found here

allright here is the update i integrated solar inverter in home assistant and ordered wallbox pulsar plus , i got very good deal on wallbox pulsar plus brand new for 500 euro. solar inverter is integrated in home assistant with solarman integration from wifi dongle that is plugged in inverter and it works like a charm. now i am waiting for delivery for charger. as from what i read wallbox pulsar plus and zappi and ease are top 3 chargers everybody mentions .
