Does anyone have any experience with this company?
I bought one of their 23 AH batteries to get me started with my trailer conversion project. It's enough to keep the lights on and offer some basic service. The price was right for the budget, and I figured I would just add more as the project progressed. My problem ended up to be that the batteries sell out pretty quick and they're hard to get. Seems kinda wacky, right? Any thoughts?
BTW, my system is a 3 x 100 watt array powering a Will Prowse inspired setup.
Alan from D-L asked to see the project so I banged out this video if anyone is interested....

Brett.

Amped Outdoors sells virtually the same batteries and stands solid behind their warranties. I bought a couple of the 12v 55ah LiFePo this summer and have used one of them each day with good results. I did receive a bad one initially when I bought two of them but it was refunded cheerfully with no problems. Owners name is Matt.

Truly though, I would be apprehensive to buy a 100ah battery for $630. Maybe that's not rational, but I feel like something's gotta be missing.

? Yep it’s hard. Lotta chatter concerning a certain brand from a Chinese seller.
The peace of mind I got from Amped Outdoors was reassuring though. Problem? He takes care of you no argument or week long emails back and forth. He’s based in Wisconsin and sells to many anglers who swear by his stuff. Lot of the ice fishing crowd that use electronic goodies that rely on their batteries to perform.

Brett,
I see you do not have any replies as of yet, but I too am interested what people say about Dakota batteries. Maybe we can convince Will to tear one apart for us and give a review. ?

Dodi,
I was thinking of recommending Will's channel to the sales guy at D-L. Maybe they would consider send a battery.
B.

Ask them to send their 100ah so it’s Apple to Apples comparison to the Battle Born. I have 100% decided to upgrade to Lithium and as of today I’ve decided on the Battle Born based on several RV full timer’s recommendation. And, with Will’s tear down of the Battle Born the other day I have an additional warm and fuzzy. However, if the Dakota is equal to the Battle Born I will most likely change my mind because it is cheaper.

Hey B,

What interest me about the Dakota’s is their ability/claim to function in low temperature.
