Hello,

has anyone already performed a complete load test on the two cells?
would like to order with now 8x 280ah but I am not so experienced in LFP.
if i read the special fications this way i would think the lists are a bit worse. What do you think?

best regards
Max

Eve cells have been tested by many people on this forum with very good results. Lishen gets very little attention, but I think that will be changing rapidly.

As far as I can tell, the first mention of EVE was on Jan 15 2020, by mndare. Prices have dropped substantially since then.

It's interesting that Lishen also says the cells should be clamped .... but they don't give any details. The difference in cycle life is based more on temperature.

Seems these cells are full at the same state, when it takes ~14A to have the battery at 3.65V.

I'm quite curious about this comparison too. I'm about to place an order and I'm debating between the Eve and the Lishen cells. Apparently the Lishen cells are advertised at 272ah, compared to the 280ah Eves... even though sometimes the lishen ones can measure at higher capacity than the Eve. The lishen ones are slightly cheaper , but I don't know how they compare in quality. From the looks of it, I probably shouldn't expect to get an answer to this question here in the immediate future.

Lishen is not new to the game. They were, or perhaps still are, the original contract manufacturer of the Valence cells used inside the Valance batteries. That said the Valcence cells are contract built and have a very high quality build. The aluminum 272Ah cells only have a 1C rating.

What does a 1C rating mean?
Load/charge rate required to discharge/charge a battery in 1 hour.

10 amp load on a 10ah battery is a 1C rate of discharge.

5amp charge rate on a 10ah battery is a .5C rate of charge.

20amp load on a 10ah battery is a 2C rate of discharge.

I don't know where Sabre got his info that "The aluminum 272Ah cells only have a 1C rating." That is incomplete in itself as cells do not have the same C rate for charge and discharge.

Any personal recommendations between the lishen and Eve cells?

I dont know if someone has posted this before, am looking for the Msds of either the Lishen or Eve cells. Need it for my shipper to confirm if he can accept it for sra freight or not.
