Growatt 12KW Install

Hello, I am preparing to install 12kw Growatt, my space is limited and the clearances seem excessive, has everyone followed their recommendation 31” top and 20” on either side?

Also, anyone use Grid/Solar/Propane?

Currently have whole house 20kw with ATS, i think i will have to turn off generator to get the solar as the second priority? Suggestions? Thks

Wire the inverter after the transfer switch. This way the inverter is always available priority. And, it can be supplemented by generator or grid.
This is assuming that you are expecting to supply all loads with the inverter/solar/battery.

My install isn't to spec for clearance and I've had no issues.

Recommended clearance is for cooling. If the space is cool enough, you won't need as much clearance.
