The main difference between a GEL and deep cycle AGM batteries is the charge rates. AGM batteries can typically handle higher charge and discharge rates than GEL batteries. ... BUT GEL batteries handle hotter temperatures a little better then AGM. If it was me I would go with the AGM ....

Have you looked at getting (2) 6V 200aH Golf Cart Wet Cells ... ??? That would be my first choice ...

As @MrNatural22 said -- you would put 2 of the 6V Golf Cart batteries together to get 12V 200aH for about $250. COSTCO has good ones. Also before you purchase a CC or Inverter PLEASE let us all know what you are thinking and we can probably give suggestions or point you in the right direction ...

well..... ive already purchased my cc and inverter oops lol got a 700w pure sine inv... (my load is extremely low) couple fans computer and a phone. my CC is either a Renogy Wanderer-Li is a 30A PWM or a 20A Rover MPPT Charge Controller I own both... Dont ask me why lol

If you're going to go lead acid I prefer flooded myself. With flooded you can add distilled water while with the other types, they DO vent... once and you can't easily add water. Then they die. That's why UPS batteries only last a few years. Well cared for flooded lead acid cells can last decades. Of course the issue is finding ones that are high enough quality to actually make it that long... all the cheap Crappy Tire ones I've bought usually die with a shorted cell at some point. I have two from 2013 still kicking though, but they also have a fairly easy life just staying on float. Only get cycled when power goes out.

2 100w renogy solar panels

Then either one of your SCC will be fine -- (2) 100 watts will give you about 10A total on a great day ... i would of course use the MPPT ... BUT really do think about getting (2) 6V 200aH Flooded cells from somewhere like COSTCO - put them in series ... and they will last you 10 years if you take care of them ... I am a believer that while LiFePO4 is excellent in most things that a good set of WET cells can't be beat for price nor endurance

I don’t have a Costco local, would rural king or tractor supply have sufficient 6v golf cart batteries? They are 50ah each?
