Hello everyone, I’ve been running a 40a renogy CC and 600 watt solar 3s2p for about a month and a half now.

My inverter just began notifying me that it was intermittently getting over voltage every day when in boost.

The cc is set to my battery sok spec boost 14.6v

No matter how I change this parameter even at 13v boost I’m getting an intermittent surge of 17.5 which is coming from the charge controller.

I spoke to renogy whiiiiich didn’t solve the problem. I’m wondering if there’s any work around for this? Or if I need to just trash the renogy and get a victron. Thanks!

It sounds like you are not the only one with the same issue.

Thanks for the reply’s. Wow! Feel sorry for all the newbies like myself out there buying their starter kits.

Get a MorningStar.
I spoke with the people at current connected. They recommended the victron. They told me they just don’t hear anyone coming back with issues on the victron. Any reason in particular you recommend MorningStar?
