I'm in the final stages of wiring my solar set up and finally looking to replace the small wall I tore off in my rv to mount everything behind. Whatever I replace it with will be designed to be removable for access- but I'd like to do a sheet of plywood with a copper sheet covering it, so there's a copper wall accent. Seeing how copper is conductive I'm wondering if this creates any sort of potential problem. It's not like the copper will be touching any part of the system, so this question might be completely paranoid .. but doesn't hurt to ask right?

Since it's metal,it will diminish the RF radiation from an eventual inverter behind it; inverters do emit small RF waves, you can even check that with a small transistor radio In the AM band,if you can find one; that is always a good thing, keeps you isolated too; bear in mind that a copper sheet, after is is polished, it will need to be sprayed with a clear coat, to keep the O2 in the air, off, or it will oxidize and turn dull. Also, there are copper nails if you care for those details.

If you are really concerned could put a sheet of polycarbonate over the copper and that would make it non-conductive while still showing off the copper.
