I'm currently planning out my roof mounted solar on a metal roof and have had difficulty finding a mounting bracket brand other than s-5. Their Protea and ridge bracket I both work for my setup but I was hoping to look at other solutions before i settled on the only brand I could find.
the three criteria besides fitting that I am looking for are price, strength and having a retailer in the u.s or with reasonable shipping to the us.
attached image is a quick and dirty googled approximate of my roof panels.
Thanks for your help!

I'm not an expert but I would say after searching and watching much solar you should build a tilting bracket. Buy or build...
The cheapest thing is homedepot steel brackets with holes used to mount garage door opening mechanism. It's full of holes and can be made to tilt any direction? Hope my novice info helps .oh you can use original brackets just drill side hole in them to use angle iron ?

I just got a system from Northern Arizona wind and solar utilizing Ironridge XR rails and L feet with ufo attachments. Same type roof. I will be putting it on my shed next to the well for h2o pumping. Just 4 275w panels connecting to a Grundfos 6 SQF 3 via a io 101 switch. No experience, still researching the installation and wondering how to get the panels up there safely once I get the rails on.
I was looking at the SnapnRack system also but the rails are 14 feet long which entails expensive freight charges. The Ironridge come in 7 ft. sections and ship via ups.?
