T Class Fuse heat?

How much heat gain should I expect to see on a Littelfuse 225A T Class Fuse and a cable? Drawing almost 180A at 12.95V. I'm seeing around 150F on the fuse and 120F on the cable going from the fuse to the shut off. About 70F ambient.

Fuse nuts torqued to spec 191 inch lbs, 2/0 cable crimped with a 5 ton hydraulic crimper, lugs polished and cleaned. I have since learned that the Blue Seas m-Series cut off switch I am using isn't the best and the e-Series and HD-Series are much better.

Do you have tape on that fuse??? That's interesting, I had never seen that in the directions for using this fuse.

My FLIR camera has issues with reflective surfaces. The tape helps me get an accurate reading.

That said - I can't find directions for using this fuse outside of a datasheet.

Can you please supply those directions you've referencing?

For my fuse/fuse holder, may not be accurate for yours. I just don't see any tape here.
