Racking was purchased for a project and never used. 12 - 14' xr1000 rails, 8 post caps for 3" pipe. All the other hardware needed is included.

Local pickup only (Central IL) as I don't want to ship 14' rails. Arrangements could be made to drive and meet halfway.

$1500 cash

Sent you a reply.

Everything you would get from ironridge is included. If your building a ground mount system you'll need to source 3" pipe per ironridge. If your building a roof mount you can still use the rails but you'll need to source roof attachment mounts for your application.

I got my 3" pipe shipped from Tubular USA. They are familiar with Iron Ridge. It was actually mechanical tubing and not pipe, but functions the same as 3" pipe and is also approved by Iron Ridge.
I hope that helps anyone who is looking.
It was really hard to source schedule 40 3" pipe near me. And the places that did have it were super expensive.

it was still pretty expensive!!

Here is my quote and my receipt. price changed because I added more splice pieces

I ended up with 2x extra 10.5' pieces of pipe because my building inspector let me go 4' in ground instead of the original plan of 7.5'

Iron Ridge has a pretty user friendly system that will give you the design and how many vertical poles you will need as well as the horizontal span you will need based of off your desired snow load/ wind speed rating, panel specifications, soil type, foundation type, array layout, etc.

then you just use the distances they give you to determine how many 10' pieces of pipe you need.

still for sale.

Make me an offer
Forgive me if this is obvious but what kind of configuration was intended with your original purchase? What kind of rack were you going to build with these parts?

I’m interested, depending on what can be built with these pieces?

Thanks for trying to help explain this for me.

Iron ridge has a online configuration tool that can be used to build various ground mounts. It will generate the required materials list for your design or you can refer to the tables they provide to see the various sizes and configurations that can be built.
