Hi, my 3 panels deliver 100.9 Volt, my Epever 30 A says it's to high...warning because 100V is max. How can I solve this little problem? Can I blind a part of the solar panel?

Best regards, Willem

You need to change the number of panels wired in series. Take the Voc of each panel and add them together when in series and it must be less than your SCC max Voc rating.

If you have room for a fourth panel. Go with 2s2p.
If not, remove 1 panel. It will only get worse in colder weather.
Consider yourself lucky that you got a warning.
There's no way to put the magic smoke back in.

That is correct, and exactly how you do it. Given the lower output current limit of your Epever SCC, it's possible separate overcurrent protection would be advisable, depending on what your SCC input Isc (short circuit current) limit is - it won't pull more than it can take, but in the event of something going wrong it may not be designed to protect against it internally.

ETA: If you haven't already removed one of those panels, do so now. Be very glad you haven't let the magic smoke out, because you are extremely close to doing so.
