ymmv, but there are reports about issues with these types of generic units -- noisy, under-performing promised specs, incorrect instructions, and o-rings that allow refrigerant to leak. Following to see if anyone has real/positive experience since the good undermount options are way expensive. Thanks!

What's in a title?
How about something like this? You still avoid having something hang off the side but you'll have to cut a hole in the floor.

I had one of those units in an Aliner A-frame camper I had. It was worthless for cooling. It simply didn't work. I tried everything, changed the vents, added hose for additional vent's etc. In a word, these suck!How about something like this? You still avoid having something hang off the side but you'll have to cut a hole in the floor.

Darn. I Don't have personal experience with that model but I've been running one of there 12k wall units without any issues.
