Hi! Working on my first install to power a shop completely off grid. I've picked up 10 370W panels and am not on to figuring out how to mount them. (79x39" size)
My plan is to build a pergola off my shop door (faces south) at the proper angle. Basically just going to put in some 4x4s, header across them, and then 2x8s every foot or so. Total size ~16x16. Not intending it to be water tight, so not worried about that. Just don't want to drill into my metal roof yet so going this route.
What's the best way to mount panels on this, should I go some kind of rail system? I've also seen the little Z bracket but that seem inefficient to do for 10 panels. Any product recommendation?
TIA
