Hi, I've spent ages online looking for a wifi power meter or energy meter. There are plenty of straight energy meters with volts, amps, watts, kwh etc ... but the only ones I have been able to find with wifi ... are switches and remote control devices.

Obviously I'm missing something, so how does everyone with a basic solar setup monitor power useage and solar generation online? Thanks.

Emporia Vue. Available on Amazon.

I just replaced my main breaker panel and put in 3 of the Emporia Vue Gen 2 units. I will be configuring them today, so I haven't used them yet.

You went all out there eh?
Enclosure and nipples and everything.

Good for you!!

This was practice with the tools I have been collecting for my solar install (still in the design phase). Also wanted to make sure sure I passed inspection for the new breaker panel install (did it myself).

Looks good. Just never seen that level of goodness for an energy monitor.

Mine was literally hanging from the box with the CT just connected.

Now that I have SA I don’t really need circuit level analysis anymore.

I took mine out.

Might put it back if I get a wild hair.

Thanks for all the answers. I have no idea why some of those didn't show up in my searching. I'm not sure I need all that much monitoring with 16 pickups but I've learned a lot just reading the links you've provided. Thanks again.
