Apexium or EEL?

I've seen a few videos and read a ton of comments but I'm not sure if I should be Apexium or EEL battery boxes? Each one has its pro's and cons.
Each has had pos and negative comments.
I wonder if I'm missing something that would help me decide.

I have the V3 Eel with all the options coming if you can wait a bit I will tell you what I think of it.

Many people have built the sepolos and they seem to like it as well.

I have used seplos boxes for loads of people. Vertical kits are great looking. Got a eel vertical as they have a lid on top to neey balancer. Have ordered a 2nd as was impressed. They have sent photos of a Matt black box I'll order on my next time. Eel have EU shipping. I like

For me, it was as simple as I preferred the battery terminals on the EEL. I was not jazzed about their customer service though.
Both boxes use the Seplos BMS, which is OK but nothing special.

I like the EEL terminal compared to a special terminal that may be hard to find or replace. I guess my concern is from a few negative comments about EEL.
So far I haven't heard bad about Apexium. Maybe it's just too new?

Go with the EEL box they use all different bms so they can adapt to suit you.

I got the Apexium box. So far it's good. I don't know where to find the torque specs. No directions in the box.

I'm in the process of testing my 280Ah Apexium box. So far, so good. Support from Daisy at Docan Power has been good. Had a weird problem with the first faceplate (terminal connections didn't fit properly), but they were aware and UPS'd a revised faceplate which sorted the issue. Going to order another soon as the cells (part of the package) were spot on too! I’ve just finished a build video aimed mainly at the UK market, it's quite long, but happy to share if that's useful. I’m starting with a cheap inverter for off-grid testing, but planning to go on-grid with a Sunsynk providing I can get a decent installer, the G99 sorted with my local DNO and my smart meter installed in January.

I have the EEL vertical box and am pretty happy with it.
Build quality is good and because of the removable top plate everything is well accessible. If you want to add a neey balancer, EEL already made some handy preparations for that. Terminals are just standard, so you can use your own cables. It had a bit more space on top compared to the seplos vertical box.

Apexium is to my knowledge the same as Seplos Mason. I assembled one with a friend of mine and that is rock solid. Not a lot of space for an additional balancer.

Quality is similar. I Would go for the box that offers the best space for an additional balancer

Has anyone tried the xr04 boxes? They can use the jbd bms which I love, and are incredibly cheap at only 240 shipped?

I was at a loss on torque spec too. Guessed 4nm on cell terminals.
I converted N.M to inch pounds. 5nm was close to 43 inch pounds. 6nm was 53 or something. Since I went 45 inch pound with my Wheeler fat wrench.

How do I find the Apexium app and use Bluetooth?

What should I set MPP Solar 6548 battery type to? (Program 5) Options are Pylontech, WECO, Soltaro, Lib-prorocal, 3rd party Lithium battery.

Sorry, missed this and replied on your other post. I've seen some reference to Pylontech on Seplos BMS threads (CAN protocol), so might be worth giving that a try?

Axepium = seplos rebadged
Use seplos V2 app and you'll be fine.
Axepium and seplos V2(10e BMS) can even be parallel and communicate to eachother

My phone is not seeing any Bluetooth signal from the battery. I'm right next to it.

I just built 2 EEL V3 cases with 302Ah 16S. I like the case very much, nothing to complain on.
However, make sure you buy extra leads for the active balancing. Don't share PCB with BMS/Balancer.
I also whewnt with EEL instead of apexium because of the Battery terminals.
