I purchased 2 10kwh battery packs from Energetech Solar thru an installer who purchased from a supplier in Utah. Both packs melted down within 6 months being used just a few times. Both supplier and installer are scrambling to get the manufacturer to honor warranty but since it’s a Chinese company no luck so far. Has anyone else had this experience? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the company should be primarily responsible for this problem, not the country it comes from... prejudice is not good:oops:anyway, you should call the after sale service, pushing them to sort it out. It's what they must do as a seller.

I use an Energetech battery in my DIY Solar Trailer. I had a BMS die, but it now has 150 cycles.

Well, it is not your problem, the Installer and their supplier in Utah are responsible to YOU. The supplier has to resolve any warranty with their provider and again, not your problem. I would assume that the installer etc provided you with some form of warranty or guarantee and that is what they have to honour. Their option to replace with similar or identical.
