Flashing Firmware Growatt 12kw

Hi, I attempted to flash my 12kw Growatt after getting odd readings from the solar voltage.

I ended getting stuck with this every time I attempt to flash the firmware. Basicly I am seeing the Start command functioning, The erase command works perfect.

After a few moments the three lights go through their individual blinking and I can attempt to re-flash. But I get the same timeout. Maybe my settings are incorrect.


My Growatt has no firmware, then when Sending "Block 2" there is a timeout... and Im stuck. any ideas?!

Fixed, The wifi was interfering with the other Serial communication. Make sure you only have one usb line hooked up

Thanks for sharing this. I had the same problem of getting stuck at Block 2 after erase and had given up. After removing the wifi dongle I was able to flash successfully!
