I’m in Arizona, this was my total for two batteries including shipping, but I remember the first time I tried to place the order selecting shipping was confusing and way more expensive, so I went back and did it again.$177 shipping. Ouch.

These are the standard setups.I would love to see a video of whether you can get away with running a 16s2p, 16s4p, 16s8p battery if you use grade-A cells, active balancing BMS, etc.
I think that you are referring to something else.I know the reasons not to do it,
That would certainly be interesting, but he's already stated in an earlier post why he won't do that (wants to stay on topic)Regular day in the life of WP!
And adjustments for people who live further from the equator and/or have more overcast weather and snow and freezing rain.I would like to see videos on DIY solutions for those of us in the upper-midwest. I know you're not in the area, but many of the DIY projects you do are completely unrealistic for me in Michigan.
Paralleling cells before putting in series?
“Will it balance”
Now that these cheap 100ah batteries seem to be including low temp cut off.
How about how to they do at keeping cells all balanced. Renology has a crap pile on their hands with their 170ah units going south and not being able to charge higher than 12.7v due to improper balancing.
So take your off the shelf battery of the day, charge to 100% crack the case open the case, use a bleed off resistor or car headlight and bleed off Xxxwhr from one cell then see how the BMS handles it.
Will it only balance during charging once a cell hits xxx? Or will it balance if a cell is above xxx volts?
I was really just being funThat would certainly be interesting, but he's already stated in an earlier post why he won't do that (wants to stay on topic)
