Wait... am I reading this wrong? You're trying to connect two batteries in serial, but the load is 2 12v fridges? Why are we not using a parallel connection? Are you wanting 24 volts?

Install an Inverter/charger from the vendor of your choice and an RV power inlet to charge from shore power. I have cutoff switches on both the battery positive and the PV positive for exactly the reason you indicate.

I have an aims 2500 watt inverter charger. They were great on the phone so I would say call them and ask about their batteries. Generally, they sell retail on their own site theinverterstore.com so if there is anything less than legit about the Ebay thing, they'll know.
