I think I had to Allow Nearby Devices in the app permissions before the app would see the JK BMS. My phone could see it when scanning for bluetooth, but the app won't not find it.

It has to be related to the BMS because that's the only thing between the battery and those terminals. Are all wires tight? Are the balance leads in the correct order?

I don't think the shunt plugs into the charge controller or inverter. Most shunts I have seen come with their own monitor or use bluetooth. The monitor you got with the charge controller is for the charge controller.

Did you do a high load test yet?

The studs with the square base seem better, but I mostly see the raised round studs.

I assume it's due to welded studs. They way they do welded studs may reduce the contact area. Just a guess.

I think people look at the new datasheet that says 6000 cycles and compare that to the old datasheet that says 3500 cycles. They don't see that the new cycle life test is at 0.5C whereas the older test was 1C. My guess is the previous LF280's would also get near 6000 cycles if the test was done...

I was also thinking about some type of corner brace bolted to the side/top if the trailer. Then aluminum angle bolted to the corner braces and the panels bolted to the aluminum angle. The trailer is an all aluminum trailer.

I think adhesives are out due to the thin 0.030 aluminum panels on the cargo trailer. I don't think the thin aluminum panels will handle the weight of solar panels, but I could be wrong.
