    Charging voltage

Assuming your talking lifepo4 most guys run 55.2 (3.45 per cell) for absorption and 54 float. Hopefully this answers your question.

Seplos BMS: Simultaneous CAN to GX and RS485 to PC for Battery Manager?

They told me if I want to monitor the master I can use the Bluetooth but otherwise no plans to ever fix this for upcoming new bms'es.

Help trying to get cerbo to recognize seplos bms

Update, used the can dip switch settings and for some reason had to reboot my cerbo and I have data! My only problem now is that battery #3 won’t show up on the computer software but shows on the can system in the vrm, I’m hopeful that the update to 2.8 will resolve this.

Help trying to get cerbo to recognize seplos bms

I tried that as well, I have 2 10C version and 1 10E version bms. They are all running ver 2.7 I’m going to try to get them to this new 2.8 and hope that does something, seems that’s what everyone else that’s working is using for firmware version.

EVE LF280k V3 A- Doesn't absorb down to .10A EBC Tester room for concern?

Good to know thanks for the info. In configuration I only ever go to 3.45 per cell. I have 3 other 280ah 48v packs that I did test this way (didn't know better at the time). These other cells hit .10 in roughly an hour unlike these that cant hit 1ah in 2. It was just an observation I thought...

EVE LF280k V3 A- Doesn't absorb down to .10A EBC Tester room for concern?

Some of the cells wont even absorb with a 1A cut off current. I stop it before the timeframe gets too long but just thought this experience was abnormal from my previous testing and other tests online.

A lot of guys including myself used Unistrut it works well and is readily available.

EVE LF280k V3 A- Doesn't absorb down to .10A EBC Tester room for concern?

Not needed but just thought it was unusual as every cell before that would absorb in a couple hours to the threshold.

EVE LF280k V3 A- Doesn't absorb down to .10A EBC Tester room for concern?

Not really concerned per say but was wondering if anyone else has had issues when testing, specifically the charging cycle, if it ever got out of absorption at 3.6v with a .10a cutoff? I have ran 48 different cells on this tester now and this is the first time it wouldn't hit the .10a cutoff it...

Bought a bad Roypow 48v on ebay and cells are at 0 need some advice.

Thanks for the reply, I basically told the seller this and he referred me to roypows customer service so you know this will be a fun one.

Bought a bad Roypow 48v on ebay and cells are at 0 need some advice.

So I bought this roypow 48v 56ah battery used on ebay in non working condition, the seller stated that the cells were still good and that it had a faulty bms. Unfortunately all the cells were drained to nothing. I did try to charge them slowly and am still in the process but more than likely are...

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

Have that in my cart, based on my math it should work if the only load I had was the ac but if I was running a mini split and or water heater I'm almost positive it will kick out the inverters, or at the very least create a voltage drop. The plan will be to install one as soon as I get some more...

Best method for transferring loads, seasonal solar production

I would be interested if anyone has used these and how they liked it and ease of install.

Best method for transferring loads, seasonal solar production

I could do that but I would need to completely rewire my main panel and power in. This is probably the best way but want to make sure I'm not missing an easier solution.

Best method for transferring loads, seasonal solar production

Trying to determine what the best route for transferring loads as the solar production starts to increase with spring around the corner. I have 9.6Kw Victron inverters, 6.4kw solar and 41kWh of battery that will power my whole home when there is enough solar but I need to be able to transfer...

    Victron MultiPlus-II 48 v System

I have 3, the fans can be somewhat loud but not obnoxious. Seems fan comes on somewhere around the 700w mark but I'm sure it will vary with ambient temp. Where are you seeing that on the website? I have been In contact with Victron about this and to my knowledge they are working on it but it...

Getting a voltage sag to 113 is this any room for concern?

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

After more testing I would agree with you that 5500w is probably the max surge on these. My car lift pulls 52a per leg which is 6200w and the lights dim pretty good for a second.

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

I should have specified what the inrush was on, whoops. That was on the air compressor as a test. I’m currently running 1 9k 120v cooper and hunter and 1 24k MRCOOL diy full time on this setup, there’s is no surge with the inverter style dc compressor. Only consideration is total wattage pulled...

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

Here you can see the inrush is 51.4 ac amps which is about 1.5x the wattage of the inverter. Occasionally the overload light would flash briefly but voltage stayed stable.

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

I doubt this is accurate but this says the surge is only 4.3. I have looked into those, that may be the route I go especially since it looks like it would be pretty close with the reduction the soft start does. It would suck to do it and still not be able to start it tho.

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

I know these aren't UL listed yet which is unfortunate but sounds like a new version of it will be within a year. Where did you find 2x for 20 seconds? that was while running around 600w on that phase as well I forgot to mention. Maybe it was just them growatts, Average Joe on youtube used...

Anyone else here using multiplus 2 48/3000? Question about surge capacity.

I am currently using 2 Victron Multiplus II in a split phase configuration. I have started the workings of being able to back feed my main panel in a power out situation (temporary only). I'm a little over a year into this build and I am almost content with its current state and performance. At...

How do you test the low discharge? just leave them and test them weeks or so later?

Some corrosion on one of my new cells vent, should be ok?

There is a lot of talk right now about these cells and capacity. Word is all these cells are under by a small margin, hopefully they hold that same amount as long as they are suppose to and we aren't seeing some quick acting degradation.
