VEHICLE TO LOAD.. KIA EV6 powering a HOUSE

Hi all! So a customer of mine (i am a electrician) asked me if it was possible to connect his Kia EV6 to his house and safe some money on the electrical bill since he charges the Kia for free via the company. So my thinking was we could do this a couple ways. Easy way, hook up a "generator"...

To high of voltage spike (470V) for Victron MPPT RS 450/100. How to reduce?

Hi all, question: How do i reduce the max PV voltage? I have a ESS system running with a Multiplus 48/5000 and 48/100AH Lifepo4 battery, the battery will upgraded to 280AH in the near future. Parallel to the system i have an 3000W AC inverter (about 3600Wp on roof). I would like to swap...

How much watts can EASYSOLAR 2 GX feed back in grid?

Hello, As some might have read in an earlier thread I am helping a friend setting up an ESS system, not off-grid. We are looking at the Multiplus 2 48/5000 with separate smart MPPT 150/60 or the EASYSOLAR 2 GX 48/3000 Maybe a silly question, but when the 48V batteries are full, how much of...

VICTRON MULTI 2 48/5000 compatible with "No brand" server-rack batteries?

Yes, i thought this would be the case as old school AGM and such also work perfectly fine for many years without direct communication. I guess it's a question of personal prefarance and or the willingness to pay a bit extra for the communication option. Thanks for your response.

Any experience with TEWAYCELL 280Ah cells?

I already ordered mine. I have no need for a gen set, maybe in the future.

EASUN 3.5KW-24V with Victron 75-15 parallel for small solar panels?

Yes you are correct on that.. my fault, if i use full 3500W the 120A is to small. I said i build 1 battery but in my mind i was thinking about building 2 battery's (smaller AH) and in parallel 120A should be fine. I will check out and google the Pylon Tech Protocol, i dont know what that is...

EASUN 3.5KW-24V with Victron 75-15 parallel for small solar panels?

Hope you guys can help me out. I currently have a 3000W grid-tie inverter and solar on my rental property. I would like to have backup power and ordered a EASUN 3.5kw-24V inverter and planning to buy 8 280AH cells and all the goodies to make a reliable system. So in case grid goes down (never...

    JBD-120A 12V BMS, perfect settings?

So far they seem well matched, very small delta.. I only charge at 10-15Amps, I can imagine charging or discharge with higher amps they start to drift a little but settle and get closer together again after that. I will have a better look at the BMS manual, should have done that before asking...

    JBD-120A 12V BMS, perfect settings?

Thanks much for your reply! Is setting the usable capacity only for the cycle count? Or does it influence the battery’s SOC % reading as well? I guess not, but just curious. I will put the battery pack tru a couple of cycles like you said and see how the BMS performs. Thanks again.

    JBD-120A 12V BMS, perfect settings?

Hi all. A couple days ago my JBD BMS (from aliexpress) arrived and i have build and top balanced a 12V pack with 4 105AH aluminum cased cells. I will be using a Victron Smart Mppt 75-15 to charge it most of the time and use the "5000+cycle" settings as recommended by Will. I have been playing...
