Correct but the voltage drops and current is the same, so overall wattage would be less. But that cell has a diode so it's not a complete waste it's kinda excluded from the circuit

Hmm I'm not sure about this if the half cells have diodes it should change performance ? just have a voltage drop but if my PV is still within spec of my SCC it should be fine..?

this is what attracted me more aswell. could hit my max and still have plenty of room in my VOC for cold. i have literally a DECK above my stationary RV, it has a LOT of room. i could do anything, lay them flat, or brace them at an angle. [probably around 22-23%]

Yes I need normally 2k watts, so im going for a 4k panel set up. I have a deck above my stationary rv plenty of space.

I probably am but that's because I wanted some clarity on the panels, I don't even know what to compare besides a few of the specs.

So lets say I have them connected in series, they all give similar voltage but what if ones very low in amps, this won't cause any issues? The voltage is about all I can compare.

My point was they may provide adequate wattage when first tested, but performing at operating Temps might provide much less wattage when going for a used panel.

i believe it means they can both operate and output to the same battery bank. in theory they would be in parallel when connected to the same battery. /edit meaning you can just use one, or both of them. [also none if you don't even have PV and just connect to the grid]
