I solve this problem. They call have this CAN/RS port. That port are preprogrammed from factory. You only can have one of them. BUT.... there is GPS port and it ALWAYS in RS mode :) (except you have to buy adapter ±10USD). So so you can order CAN version, but also have RS :)

JK BMS, rated at 200A current with 350A peaks. Have two 7AWG cables on B- and two 7AWG cables on P-. How this is possible? Does anyone had a problems with it? 7AWG cable rated to 30-40A. Two of those will double accordingly 60-80A. Is it safe to use?

I also was thinking on how it can be time related. The only thing i can think about is that your BMS serial number is bounded to the phone application. And that code is generated for your application (if it's on the phone, it should have access to internet). So maybe it kind of your applications...

By the way... how this fuse can work? My solar panels max amperage is 13.40A. Short circuit current 14A. And in the manual they say: "Maximum series fuse rating - 25A".
