Were you ever able to get your battery to charge? And did you ever peak inside in your battery to view the BMS PCB? The safest way to go about it is by removing the top lid.

You are correct they are chargers. You should open up the 24V lifepower4 and see if you can see any damage on the BMS PCB.

You need to put the eg4 battery on an actual 24v charger.

Did you clamp the positive or negative leads going to the 24V EG4 to see if current was even being shared between the batteries?
