Quick question and its prob been asked multiple times. But if a solar string is disconnected/switched off from inverter/charge controller and its blistering sun. Is this bad for the panels? Where does this energy go?

Not sure if you have done this already but some advice on this thread is incorrect. I could be wrong but to my understanding is, you cannot parallel multiple strings onto one mppt with your panels. The panels you have are ~13amps and the max amps allowed per mppt on the inverter is 16a

resurrecting an old thread. Are you able to see the pv production of each inverter seperatly? or does it just show a total pv production across all the inverters.

One of the cables plus or minus needs to be longer than the other by about 14m ish. Does it make any difference to voltage drop if plus or minus is the longer. Is it better to have the minus as the longer run for example? I presume it doesnt make a differentce but I just want to double check

I have tried the voltage drop calculators. They are fine as long as voltage remains high, but Im in ireland and its grey alot so im guessing it would often have fairly low voltage. For what reason to not cut the long cable on the panels?

Looking for some advice please on cable lengths. Im worried my distance is too far. Basically the distance of my panels to the inverters is 38m (125ft). Unfortunately the inverters are west of the string so either the plus or the minus have to be much longer than this again.13m (42ft). Also...

Did a capacity test on a cell. Tested from 3.6 -2.6v. Used the chinese heater tester from Will Prowse video here Result was 295ah. Test report has it at 308.6ah. Is this normal degradation of a 10 month old cell with allegedly zero use? EDIT: room temp was 22-25 degrees celcius. Discharged...

Directly from Seplos on Alibaba (Shenzhen Seplos Technology Co., Ltd.) Using link from Off grid Garage website. I dont wanna crap all over Seplos yet, they could still be legit EVE cells, but just older(april) than they said they would be. Should new eve cells arrive prefect and not bulged?

Thanks, so it's quite important that each battery pack is quite close to each other in charge level? Because as soon as one battery triggers the 3.375 float it will slow down charging to the other three batteries from the inverter, even though they themselves haven't hit the cell float level...
