Ordered 4x280ah cells and am building my first battery. Currently have 4 6v La batteries and 400 w solar on 5th wheel. Looking for a 120~amp bms and overkill says at least 30 days which is no big deal as the cells will take that long. But no guarantee I won't have to wait for another 30. Alternatives?

Smart BMS 4S 12V 120A Lithium Lifepo4 Battery Management PCB Protection Board with Balance Leads and Wireless Bluetooth Module - Supports 4 3.2 Cells 12.8 Volts DIY Programmable

I believe this is the same BMS. It even has Bluetooth module included. $109 shipping included
However, you will NOT get OverKillSolars Lifetime replacement guarantee

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SQL487S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Soldout on Amazon, what other options are available?

See the link above for Aliexpress someone posted that got it in a week.

I've ordered from the Daly store on Ali and got mine in the States in 3 weeks.

are these same as Overkill BMS?
That link above is. It's Xiaonxiang BMS. The difference is, the guys at Overkill Solar order from them and then inspect each one and confirm it's operation etc.

They look identical. They are both use Xiaoxiang software.
But...that doesn't mean they have the same firmware or exact same circuit boards and manufacturing quality.

China is world known for copying products. Even inside China companies copy each others products.
You will never know what you're getting imo. A roll of the dice.
At least with overkillsolar he's inside the USA, thoroughly tests each one but even more importantly, has a lifetime warranty on his REGARDLESS of the reason for a problem.

I just returned the Amazon BMS as it was a dud. I will ONLY buy from Overkillsolar now, just me.

Hard lesson for me because I like to save. Sometimes it pays to step up and pay the extra.

I overmuch want to buy from Overkill, I understand they are small company and that they have challenges with the influx of orders. Getting a response from them is also difficult, as a customer how do we deal with this? :)

Good question.
To be blunt...I cannot get any reply from them at all. Weeks now with no reply.
I'm not sure how anyone could get warranty service in any case.
I think in America we are beginning to feel the impacts of total dependence on China manufacturing.

Steve posted a lengthy apology at his website for the poor or non existent customer service. It was there last week.
But I do not understand how not having inventory to ship correlates to not answering customer inquiries.

Unless the number of inquiries is a lot higher than can be handled. Like dozes per day.
