Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I currently have my 12v parallel lithiums connected / wired like the first picture below. This is that same or closely similar configuration that rules in the Google world and on this site.

I was just reading through my battery operation / production manual and they show an example of there recommended parallel connecting with the direct battery to battery connection (in addition to the bus bars).

MY question, in the second drawing / configuration, is this a superior way to set this up or is it just a waste of wire?

Thank you again for taking the time to read this, and thank you in advance for any recommendations / input. (clicking on these pictures and it expands to make more sense)

So, batteries connected in parallel with cables and then again with a bus bar.

there would be a measurable benefit, but it's probably not worth the added expense.... maybe a 0.5% improvement for too much $.

Money would be better spent in fatter cables from battery to bus bar.

If you're actually reading Victron's Wiring Unlimited, congratulations!

Thanks so much for the response. Just the info that I was looking for, and then the Victron Wiring Unlimited bonus. Oooohhhhhh sunny days in the Jungle.... Have a GREAT w/e. TB
