I'm trying to wrap my head around what I need for grounding.
As everyone's system is different, I'll give specifics for mine.
Completely off grid, not connected to house power in any way.
I'm growing my system from small (12v) to medium (48v) and want to address any safety concerns.
Currently I have the following components:
1. 6 of these panels in 3s2p configuration, to be mounted on wood frame ground mount:
2. This charge controller:
3. This inverter:

Charge controller and inverter located in a solar shed, powering loads directly from inverter receptacles.

My question is, if this is not connected to house power in any way, how do I need to ground the system?
Is a system *not* connected to house power still required to be connected to house ground?

I have planned a ground rod at my shed. 30 amp breaker panel with all earth grounds through it to the ground rod. Inverter and CC earth grounds to the breaker panel ground point and at least 8 awg from the panel to the ground rod.
