hello,
My first Multiplus II 5000/70-50 , is already connected to 6kw PV and a 13kwh LPF battery pack, at home. With a AC output 1 limited to 22A.
ESS assistant used with 100W grid feedin.
OffGrid is not my fisrt goal.

And I want to connect a second Multiplus II 3000/35-32, to extand my AC Loads capability with 13A more (as powerassist is able).
So "AC out 1" will be 22A + 13A (assist).

My first goal was a serie configuration, with 2nd inverter as a generator (as offgridgarage use case), and relay command start/stop.
1. But what about ESS configuration ?

2. Another design is possible , in parallel ? Considering same model and firmware , but different power capabilities ?

Thanks for our advice.

PS: I'm a OffGridgarage viewer ;)

Has to be same output unit to parallel I believe. The model number is different from the 5k to the 3k.

To run multiplus units in parallel/series they need to be the same model AND built the same year, according to Victron.

I'm familiar with the video you saw.
. In Andy's case though, he had no AC In at all before he connected the two together in series. I'm honestly not sure how that would work.

I believe @Brucey is right though and you have to have the same output to parallel the inverters together.
