Will my existing 395w solar panel (flat on van) be over the amp threshold for my new Bluetti AC180. Apparently the max allowable amps as per the Bluetti spec is 10amps and 60volts.500watts

* My JA solar panel spec 13.7 isc, 12.81 imp, 36.98 VOC, 395w solar panel

Could I damage my Bluetti AC180 by trying it? Could I not just cover a couple of cells to reduce current or is that a stupid idea? Go easy on me please, newbie. Thanks

Panels don't push power, the mppt will pull what it can take... Stay under the max VOC and account for cold temperature increases, you'll be fine.
