Can I use a Bluetti pv120 solar panel w/12v-24v buck converter to solar charger to 12v battery

I have a Bluetti PV120 solar panel.
Power:120W
Voltage at Max Power(Vmp):
19.6V
Current at Max Power(Imp):
6.1A
Open Circuit Voltage(OCV):
24.4V

Could I use a 12v to 24v step up buck converter on this PV120 panel going to a victron 100/15 solar charger controller then to charging a 12V lifepo4 battery to decrease charging time safely without damaging the solar panel or controller charger? Would I need to fuse and a diode inline for this also?

The 100/15 will bring the panel voltage down to battery voltage just fine. Buck converters try to pull a full load on panels and bring the panel voltage down in the process.

Unless I am misunderstanding this it sounds like you just need a SCC
