My current van setup with 24V 380ah 8S battery is limited by the overkill 24V 8S 100 amp BMS (the limitation is 2400W eventhough the inverter is 4000/8000w. So I got it's big brother JBD AP20S003S, which in a 200 amp BMS with a built in relay that will allow the full 4000w inverter capacity.

The new 200a BMS came with a 400 fuse and i'm wondering if this 400amp fuse needs go between the battery and the inverter instead of the current 250a fuse.

Also, It got me to thinking I may need to upgrade other fuses in my current setup. What do you think forum? ...see attached image as reference for my CURRENT 100 amp BMS setup BEFORE upgrading to the new 200 camp BMS.

your fuses are to protect your wiring and make sure there are no fires!!
You do not just "upgrade" a fuse without also changing your wiring and connectors.

I would recommend you include your wire length and guage in your drawings to make sure you have everything sized correctly.
