I will be using sunny island/ sunny boy with rec bms which requires a shunt.
I also want to keep the SI and SB off the internet for the most part. It looks like the victron smart shunt has a decent remote viewing page with the RPi and VenusOS.
My question is can the victron shunt sense terminals be accessed to supply the rec bms with battery current information?
Thanks

Thinking I could void the warranty and drill/tap the brass end blocks to add some sense leads.

What is the wiring diagram of the meter you want to use with a Victron Shunt? With a simple monitoring meter, there are two wires that sense the voltage drop across a known resistance, the shunt. Those two wire connect one to the battery side and one to the load side of the shunt. A proper size ring terminal would work to connect to these battery studs on the shunt. No voided warranty, and the Victron should still work through the interface.
