I have a 24 volt system in my van. I run an MPP LV2424 as my all-in-one charge controller and inverter. I have 2 bigbattery (brand) 12v OWL's wired in series. I'd like to add something like a LiTime 24v battery to increase storage. My understanding is that I can maintain the voltage by wiring in series-parallel. One issue is that the batteries would be different Amp hours. The bigbattery ones are 170ah and the LiTime would be 100ah. Can it be done? Is it a stupid idea. What issues do I face. Will the mismatched amp hours be the issue? Educate me. Thx.
