I'm a computer engineer (saw you on your video with Vmware shirt!) and I got a few computer running on UPS power at home.. (a old discontinued APC Power-Saving Back-UPS XS 1300VA, 120V)
I've seen the MPP Solar All-in-One 800W 12v that you are recommanding , with switching power and all and it's almost perfect... but it's not portable.
I would like to build a kind of Milk Crate 3.0 (it's been 2 years already since 2.0) capable of doing about the same thing but on the go! A setup where at home my computers are draining the battery all the time and protect from power surge and switch to AC charging when they are low (like a Computer UPS would) but with a connection to a solar array.
And be able to take if off for camping trip! (switching it from my home array to my camping solar array).
You think to update the "Milk Crate" soon? Have you received your shipment? :D
