Hi there,

I watched Will Prowse video
And I have a similar situation.

I have a 2020 4runner and the 12 volt outlet in the cargo area only charge @100 watts when driving but since the current is not stable, the Ecoflow shuts off.

I would like to set up this up
But I have no idea what gauge wires or how to set this up.
I do not want a fire or short circuit to happen. The 4runner is my daily driver.

I have a ECOFLOW Solar Generator DELTA 2 Max 2048Wh with 220W Solar Panel, LiFePO4 Battery Portable Power Station, Up to 3400W AC Output, AC + Solar Fast Dual Charging 0-100% in 1 Hr For Outdoor Camping RV https://a.co/d/30qvVv3

I belive the Victron Energy Orion 12/24-Volt 20 amp DC-DC Converter https://a.co/d/6wAHBQu could be used placed inside the vehicle. It has built in fan so it would help to keep the unit cool instead of placing the unit in the engine bay close to the alternator to avoid large gauge wires as suggested in the Thinkers adventure video.

Not sure if the wires are connected to the alternator itself or to the starter battery.

I also have an Auxbeam swith panel but no components connected yet. I think I could use it for the set up but not sure how.
Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel BA80, Universal Circuit Control Relay System Box with Automatic Dimmable On-Off LED Switch Pod Touch Switch Box for Car Pickup Truck Jeep Boat UTV SUV, Blue 2 Year Warranty https://a.co/d/hVtS33b

Please, could someone help me built this set up with a step by step process and materials / tools needed?

I have never attempted this type of set up and I am totally intimidated to do it and burning my suv.

I am doing a three week overlanding trip to CO, UT, AZ etc., in about three weeks.

Thank you so very much
