Planning to replace my damaged Gel Deep cycle battery. Am planning to use the 32650 LiFePo4 3.2v 5ah battery. Seen videos but the max i noticed were less than 40ah built, just wondering if there is a limit for this type of battery. Have checked the 8s BMS for this battery but am not sure, what is the maximum number of batteries i use in parrallel.

If I'm running the numbers right, you need 32 cells for a 12V battery for 40Ah. 64 for 24V. That's going to be hard to manage physically

Tesla puts an ungodly number of 18650 cells in parallel in each cell group (74). Since they're explody chemistry, they fuse each and every one. Not necessary with LFP.

I think the limit is what you can manage.

This stuff makes the fusing trivial to do.

Sadly, looks like Battery Hookup is out of stock.
